About Us

Our team is dedicated to supporting the parents, teachers and students at CMS.  Our goals are directly connected to the goals and objectives established by our administrative team and posted to our main CMS website.  We greeted our teachers and staff with hard-to-find Cracker Jacks when they returned from the Christmas break.  Let's Get it Poppin'!

CMS PTSA Action Plan for 2018-2019 School Year

All of the activities our team engages in are in direct support of the goals and objectives indicated in the CMS 2017-2018 Title I Continuous School Improvement Plan.  Please take a moment and provide your feedback for the DeKalb County Parent and Family Engagement Plan.
In support of strengthening student academic achievement, Columbia Middle School PTSA fully supports the Title I policy which establishes the expectations for parental involvement.  The policy also describes how the school will implement parental involvement activities and incorporate them into the school’s improvement plan. Please take a moment and review our Parental Involvement Plan.

Testimonial

“Being a part of the CMS PTSA has been a blessing. I have learned a lot about how to advocate for my children and how to make sure that their teachers have what they need to teach.

Being a part of a great national organization is a  phenomenal investment that gives more than 100% return on investment.  Thanks CMS PTSA! If you are not a member, you should join TODAY!.”

Mrs. Lottie Grier, Immediate Past Vice Pres.
