"Thriving & Surviving" - Cancer Survivors Brunch
October 18th - 10am - Room 501
CMS PTSA will honor parents, guardians, grandparents or community members who have survived breast cancer or any other cancer. We will celebrate the road to recovery and honorees will briefly share their strategy for surpassing survival and reaching a thriving stage of life!

DCSD Needs YOUR Input! - Oct. 9th 6:30pm- 8:30pm
The DeKalb County School District (DCSD) invites all community stakeholders to provide input on the district’s 2019-2024 Strategic Plan. We will be discussing the district’s future, including plans for student achievement, outlines for measurable success, and routes for employee satisfaction.
The meetings will take place at 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at the following locations:

Thanksgiving Dessert & Family Photo
November 15th - 11:00am-1:00pm - Room 501
After parents have Thanksgiving lunch with their child, the CMS PTSA will host parents for desserts and family photos. A professional photographer will take photos and have them available for pick up and purchase on site. Please RSVP by November 10th.
"The Millionaire Bash" - Celebrating CM-Excellence
December 15th - 3:30pm-6:30mm - CMS Cafeteria
CMS PTSA will celebrate over ONE MILLION A's earned by our scholars this semester. Students who earned at least 2 A's on a report card and have missed no more than 2 days of school (unexcused) will be invited to attend this formal event of light dining and heavy laughing. This event will include special appearances and photo opportunities with local celebrities and millionaires!

Fall Break at CMS - NO SCHOOL!
School is closed. This may also be a good time to double check with teachers and on infinite campus BEFORE the break, to get make-up assignments or extra credit assignments for your child to complete and submit when school resumes on October 9th. Enjoy your family!

CMS PTSA will host ALL members for a little music, a little mingling, and a LOT of NACHOS! We are encouraging all administrators, teachers, staff, students and parents to join before our Sepember 26th deadline to support our membership drive. We need as many members as possible, to show strength in numbers as we advocate for children in our building. JOIN TODAY by downloading the membership form and turning it in at the CMS front office.
